All six reviewers gave five stars. People praise the therapists' skill and warmth, noting they leave deeply relaxed after treatments. Birthday groups and colleague outings feel especially welcomed and looked after.
Based on limited recent reviews, so treat this as low-confidence.
Reviewers praise the calm, beautifully designed space and the therapists' skill, especially for massage. Faith, Peace, Martha, and Tassnem are professionals mentioned for their competence. One client called it their favorite spa in Cape Town. Visitors consistently mention luxury products, a relaxing atmosphere, and a desire to return.
Most visitors praise Ginkgo's skilled therapists, tranquil atmosphere, and pampering treatments like massage, pedicures, and scalp work. A small minority report inconsistent reception, poor communication on booking, and operational gaps (sauna not ready, no welcome drink) that undercut the spa experience. The business is located in Claremont with parking and operates under their own website listing massage, facials, manicures, pedicures, rasul, and sauna services. Therapists including Sheryl, Mercy, Erin, and Mel are named as standouts; packages on Hyperli were purchased by repeat visitors.
Staff are genuinely skilled and the treatment framework produces documented sobriety outcomes, but the experience is coloured by rigid rule enforcement, maintenance issues, and unclear communications around follow-up care and costs. Recent guests value the structure and honesty of the programme; earlier visitors found the points system punitive and facilities neglected.
